What is a safe list?
A safe list is a mailing list where all members can mail to each other. These emails cannot be considered as spam because every member has opted in and confirmed their email address. A safe-list can be used to advertise websites, business opportunities and so forth.
A Google Gmail account is recommended, a good tip is to set up a separate account just for the list mailers because of the volume of email they generate, some send thousands of emails a week. Gmail has a great filtering system you can set up to automatically sort the mail into what I call "surf folders" for you, so you can click the credit links in the emails at your leisure without flooding your inbox.
